Traditionally we print a limited run of 30 shirts for the annual T-shirt design, which celebrates the anniversary of M33Ms on March 27th. This year I am releasing year 9 and 10 together, because I was not able to deliver last year, I know some of you have been patiently waiting, so thank you!!!.
Maneki Neko- will only be in black crew necks
XO Fishcake- Will be in both black and white for Unisex crew necks and white ladies V-necks.

Design Maneki-neko
When your Chinese zodiac year comes around, it is said to be a bad luck year. Indeed mine, the year of the tiger 2022 was a tumultuous one filled with many challenges, including my surgery. I had initially planned for a tiger faced Maneki Neko as the concept to launch in March 2022, but the year passed quickly and here we are it's 2023. Serendipitously I was adopted by a stray kitten last November, so I have dedicated year nine to my dear cat Moira Rose, who has brought good fortune to me in the 9th year. I know it's a year late but I suppose it's better late than never.
The maneki-neko (招き猫, lit. 'beckoning cat') is a common Japanese figurine which is often believed to bring customers and good fortune.
The Moira Rose 9 year anniversary Maneki-neko was designed and illustrated by tattoo artist Erin Nagamine from Chopstick Hawaii Tattoo.

2023 marks 10 years for M33Ms, so naturally I find myself going back to the very beginning. On March 27th 2013, M33Ms debuted the first collection of sterling silver jewelry at fishcake, Kakaako. Over the years, fishcake has been a launching pad for many artist and designers like myself. Owner and designer, Maura Fujihira remains the mothership we often return to.
