The Daruma is a Japanese traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of Zen Buddhism. They are a talisman of good luck and an object that motivates individuals to reach their goals. Your Daruma’s eyes are left blank. One eye will be set with a jewel when a goal or wish is made. The other eye will be set with a jewel when your goal or wish is achieved. Set your goals high and may every wish be fulfilled.
